Domiciliary Care Assistants

Job Summary
  • Assist clients with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Support clients with mobility, transfers, and safe positioning.
    Prepare meals and assist with feeding while ensuring nutritional needs are met.
  • Carry out light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing and independence.
    Administer or assist with medication in accordance with care plans and company policies.
  • Monitor clients’ health and wellbeing and report any changes or concerns to management.
    Maintain accurate care records and follow safeguarding procedures.
Person Specification
  • Previous experience in care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
  • Passionate about helping others and making a positive difference.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel between service users’ homes.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
